Sugar Cookie Recipes
Does anyone have a sugar cookie recipe that you absolutely love? I need to make some and wasn't happy with the last recipe I used. Thanks!

Quick and Easy Sugar Cookies!
PREP TIME 15 Min COOK TIME 10 Min READY IN 25 Min Original recipe yield 4 dozen
INGREDIENTS (Nutrition) 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour 1 teaspoon baking soda 1/2 teaspoon baking powder 1 cup butter, softened 1 1/2 cups white sugar 1 egg 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
DIRECTIONS Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). In a small bowl, stir together flour, baking soda, and baking powder. Set aside.
In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until smooth. Beat in egg and vanilla. Gradually blend in the dry ingredients. Roll rounded teaspoonfuls of dough into balls, and place onto ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven, or until golden. Let stand on cookie sheet two minutes before removing to cool on wire racks.

No Roll Sugar Cookies
Ingredients
1/2 cup butter, softened 1/2 cup shortening 1/2 cup white sugar 1/2 cup confectioners' sugar 1 egg 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour 1/2 teaspoon baking soda 1/2 teaspoon salt 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract 1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar Directions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Lightly grease baking sheets. Cream butter or margarine, shortening, white sugar and confectioners' sugar together until light and fluffy. Beat in the egg and the vanilla. Sift the flour, baking soda, salt and cream of tartar together. Add the flour mixture to the sugar mixture and blend. Shape dough into walnut-sized balls and place on the prepared baking sheets. Dip a glass in white sugar and press balls flat. Bake at 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) for 10 to 12 minutes or until lightly browned.
