Sugar Free Desserts?
My DD's Girl Scout troop is participating in an event for Juvenile Diabetes and they are having a bakeoff, does anyone have any recipes for sugarfree desserts, that they have made before, perhaps?

Re: Sugar Free Desserts?
Sugar Free using substitutes such as splenda, is what they requested.

If you go to the Splenda website, they have a lot of recipes for baked goods made with Splenda instead of sugar.

Re: Sugar Free Desserts?
You could make baked apples with cinnamon and Splenda. The pudding idea is good as well. Fruit parfaits

That recipe has flour and milk, so it's only "sugar free", not really sugar free. A diabetic still has to watch how much of that they eat because it will absolutely raise their blood sugar levels. Non-diabetics think that if a food doesn't have hfcs or sugar in the ingredient list, it's safe for diabetics. As a 30 year diabetic, I've learned to notice the difference between "sugar free" and sugar free. Truly sugar free has essentially zero calories.

Anything with fruit is far from sugar-free. Healthy, absolutely, but definitely not sugar-free.
