Suggestions for location for DD's 2nd b-day
I am looking for places to have Hayley's 2nd birthday party. I am in Centereach.
Has anyone been to Dave & Busters in Islandia for a party? Any idea of the packages they offer?
TIA

Dave & Busters is great, but honestly I think she is too young to enjoy it.
Will you have alot of people? Adults and children or just a childrens party?
(p.s. Hi Tracy!!)

There really isn't much for a two year old to do at Dave and Busters...so, if it's for a kiddie party, that might be tough.
We were just at Wood Kingdom today - and they had a smaller party room that had two of the plastic climbing/slide sets that were GREAT for my daughter (age 2) as well as the older kids. We had so much fun!

Re: Suggestions for location for DD's 2nd b-day
Patsbrats had a party at D&B, try to FM her. I had thought about doing that for DD's 1st, since it would mostly be adults and I don't have the space here.
Other options are Wood Kingdom, Gymboree, My Gym, Chuck E Cheese, Boomers (I would only do this if the outside is open), Safe T Swim, Suffolk County Farm and Education Center, , Party Jungle (Commack though, but cute!)

Thanks!
At Wood Kingdom, is there stuff for kids of all ages? I have kids from 2 thru 8 (some older ones but I don't have to entertain them) How is the party area?

wood kingdom is really cool... but in my opinion is more for 4 -5 year olds.. if that's the majority of ages in your group i'd say it's perfect.. there are things to do for the little ones.. but the preschoolers really get into the treasure hunt and that stuff. My gym and gymboree are also really cool ideas..

It's geared toward all ages. My son is 8 and we still go to Wood Kingdom for open play once in a while. They only do one party at a time so the kids can run around without worrying about the them escaping and the adults can chat.
I would recommend going for open play during the week (10-11:30 am, $8 per child) and see how your DD likes it.

I would have our family and friends with their kids. I guess I should go check out Wood Kingdom.
Thanks!
