Suggestions for places in Mastic/shirley area to take a client out...
DH will be working with a client that is developmentally disabled and we are both totally unfamiliar with what there is to do in that area. He will be doing this after his FT work day (so around 6pm-10pm). Can anyone suggest some areas of interest in that vicinity? Also bc we live kinda far from there I really didnt want him to travel all over LI. I told him to look for a local library, barnes &Nobles etc...

Well - theres no Barnes and Noble there but there is the Mastic/Shirley library which is right on William Floyd Parkway. There is not to many fun exciting things to do in that area, except of course the beach - which they have music down there every night in the summer time.
