Suggestions needed for a little chair or something like it

Right now DS sits in his car seat for about 10 minutes as DH and I run around in the morning doing last minute things- bottles in the bag, make-up, etc. He watches Elmo's World and babbles to him. Chat Icon We are transitioning DS to the bigger carseat now and I don't know what to put him in since we will no longer be using the portable carseat. Any suggestions for a seat that he could hang out in? He doesn't sit still so I would preferably want one with straps. Also, he is around 22 lbs. and 30 inches. Thanks so much for any ideas!

I'm not sure how old your DS is, but the exersaucer is a god-send for us...

high chair or jumper

'ds loved the fp newborn to toddler rocker when he was younger - not anymore since he crawls around.

Thanks for the replies! The problem is that DS is really active- moving and crawling all over. He wants to go-go-go. But when he goes in the car seat he settles right down and hangs out. Do you think the FP infant to toddler rocker would work for him? He's almost 11 months old.

My DD ( now 16 months) would probably not stay put very long in the FP infant to toddler chair ( like long enough for me to take a shower etc...)
She likes it, but for short spans of time..

The only "holding" type thing my DD will stay in is the exersaucer and the Jumperoo for longer stretches..

If you are looking for something for him to just hang out in to come and go as he pleases, the FP rocker will do the trick...If you want more of a safe haven type place to put him while you are cooking etc..., then it may not be the best bet Chat Icon

DS is the same age, and started flipping over the infant to toddler rocker a few months ago, so we packed it up. there's honestly nowhere i could sit ds, except maybe a stroller strapped in? but we have gates set up, so i just let him roam freeChat Icon for a while.
