Summer plans.....
We'd like to someplace for a night or two. Nothing too expensive; just a small getaway where we can drive. DD is 6 and is not a fan of rides so a place like Dutch Wonderland would be out. We went to Lake George last year.
We are going to do day things like the zoo, Fire Island....but really want to get away for a night or two.
Any ideas?

We plan on taking a short trip to Mystic, CT. They seemt o have a lot of cool things for kids to do. My son is 5 and we think he will enjoy it the aquarium a lot.
