Re: Summer Reading

For some reason I am reading Belva Plain.
Before that I had read some James Patterson! Love him!! Time to get back to him!!!
I bought a few of Belva Plains books at a church yard sale for like 50 cents each! I used to read her years ago when a friend who worked in a bookstore would bring me all sorts of free books to read!

Re: Summer Reading

ALONE
by Lisa Gardner

The New York Times bestselling author of The Killing Hour and The Perfect Husband once again proves why she’s “one of today’s most exciting authors” (Romantic Times). Lisa Gardner’s latest is a gripping tale of seduction, deceit, and revenge. You won’t want to read this one…alone.

State Trooper Bobby Dodge probably wishes he never set eyes on Catherine Rose Gagnon. He saved her life in what he thought was a hostage standoff, but now he’s not so sure. Is it possible that he’s walked right into a desperate woman’s twisted plot to kill her husband?

Dangerously sexy Catherine had a tragic past that left her unable to feel love, but more than capable of making men give her what she wants. Now, everyone in her life is being murdered and her son is suffering from a mysterious illness. Cat’s father-in-law, superior court Judge James Gagnon, suspects foul play. He’s determined to make someone pay for his son’s death—and with plenty of connections in very high places, someone will pay. Catherine insists she’s innocent and turns to Bobby for help. Bobby finds her fragile beauty hard to resist, but can he trust her?

Is Cat a victim of circumstance or a fatal black widow? If Bobby doesn’t figure it out—and fast—he could lose his job, his freedom...and his life.
