I hope you've all enjoyed my QOTD's! I'll nominate the Mommy to Be in a seperate post. Here's my last question!
Where/how does everyone plan on giving birth? Traditional hospital? Hospital with midwife? Waterbirth? Homebirth?
I'm a traditional girl and plan on giving birth at Southside in Bayshore. Part of me would love to try a homebirth but I am way too much of a worrier.

Reg hospital - I do want a sep room so DH can stay. Oh and no drugs (at least that is what I am saying now - it will prob change in the delivery room!)

I am a traditional gal and DH is a very bigger worrier...so it is a traditional hospital for us at this point it will be Winthrop hospital. DH may get transfered to NJ permanetly so I don't know what will happen then.
Even though I think I have a high tolerance for pain I want drugs. I am scared that if I didn't get anything I would eventually want it and it would be to late.

We want the delivery to be a hospital most likely winthrop. I would love no drugs lol

I'd have loved to deliver in a birthing center with a midwife, but there aren't any birthing centers on LI and Dh does NOT want to drive to Manhattan. Instead I'm working with a midwife that delivers at Winthrop.

I plan on giving birth at StonyBrook hosp. I work there, and my OBGYN is there too!

i plan on giving birth in withrop hospital in mineola...they have a wonderful infant unit care there!. i plan on delivering natural all the way!

Definitely a traditional hospital.
I have what DH likes to call a negative tolerance for pain, so bring on the drugs!

My OBGYN is associated with Winthrop so I guess that's where we would go and I'm planning on getting the drugs!!!!

Same place as the last time...........St. Charles Hospital in Port Jefferson. LOVED my experience there!!

traditional hospital and I will need an epi. I had a terrible delivery with DS and this was 13 years ago when I was 20. I can't imagine what it would be like now
not sure what hospital yet. DS was born in Booth Memorial but we are now in NJ. I am seeing an OB in Manhattan affiliated w/ Lenox Hill but am currently looking for one in NJ.

I would LOVE to do a home birth after seeing video of someone's because it seems so intimate and special. But sadly, I will most likely have a scheduled C-section due to back issues (my doc doesn't want me to do further damage by pushing). I'll likely deliver at Winthrop since my OB/Gyn and back surgeon are out of there.

Traditional Hospital for us. It will either be Winthrop or South Nassau because my OBGYN is affiliated with both. I would prefer South Nassau because they have private rooms. I would love to say that I will do it with no drugs but I have a feeling I will have to have a c-section. If I don't have a c-section and the pain it unbearable then bring on the drugs!!
