I got married on a Sunday, but, C.H. started at 6.
I had one relative come up to me (this was 8 years ago) and say..A Sunday???
My answer...Yes...Its was what DH and I could afford.

All of our guests showed up. I was also in my friends bridal party 2 years ago, on a Sunday (same time) and DH and I both had to work the next day (I had all day trainings that day too Chat Icon Chat Icon ).
Im sure you will be fine.

In answer to your question...Yay! I really don't mind Sunday weddings.

Mine was on a Sunday, but in the morning. Since you are IN the bridal party I know many people would say you have to stay, but we had a bridesmaid and 2 groomsmen who had to leave early (they lived out of state and had planes to catch) and no one noticed or thought it was rude. I was just happy they came and shared in the wedding with us, whether or not they stayed until the last dance was not what I worried about.

So I think it's ok for you to leave before the end. Besides, you have a young child to care for and a job to go to the next day, no sense in making yourself overly tired.

I don't think you need to stay until the very end - and I"m sure that they will understand. But, I would try to stay until they at least cut the cake.

I would try and stay the enitre time. If you bring her stroller she will prob sleep while there. We are always up late anyway so staying late somewhere has never been a problem with us.

My wedding was also on a sunday but memorial day was the next day so most people were off. I would try to stay as long as possible since you are in the bridal party. Not everyone stayed till the very end at my wedding so I'm sure they'll understand esp since you have a baby.

Re: Sunday weddings yay or nay?

We recently went to a Sunday night wedding and left at 10:00pm...both DH and I had to work the next day. My dad was watching Jacob and he also had to work. I think that you should leave early if you have to...Sunday night weddings are tough!

Once the pictures are taken and the cake is cut, I don't really see a problem if you left early. Especially, since you have a little one to take care of.

Re: Sunday weddings yay or nay?

I had a Sunday night wedding, because I wanted Oct/Nov and every Saturday was booked already when I asked in January!

I did have quite a few people leave early, and while it was a little disappointing, I understood that people had to work the next day. As a PP said, I think once the cake is served and all the photos are taken, I don't think it would be a big deal for you to sneak out a bit early.
