Re: Super Bowl Party Food

I think it sounds perfect

similiar to ours, but DH gets a 6 ft b/c he's insane. THen again we're not having spaghetti. I'm just not a fan of food you need a fork for when it comes to super bowl parties. We have enough sitting room for everyone, but I always find pple getting up and just getting finger foods b/c it's easier.

that's always good
you could do chicken fingers and sauces, fries, etc
If you want to then stick with spaghetti too. Everyone has different taste. We're getting subs and an assortment of wraps from Wegmans so there's turkey, meat, vegetarian, etc for everyone.
Since there will be kids there we may do the chicken fingers too.
Most pple stuff themselves with the all the apps and mini-dogs are always a huge hit LOL

I am thinking people will be full anyway just like you said.
We had friends over 2 weekends ago for a game and I made 2 lbs. of pasta for 9 people and STILL had leftovers even though that was the main meal. They all filled up on the appetizers beforehand and I guess were not that hungry.

Re: Super Bowl Party Food

Sounds a lot like my menu. Except instead of spaghetti we're doing sausage and peppers and maybe pulled pork.

Re: Super Bowl Party Food

Sounds like plenty of fabulous food!

Like others have said I might re-think the spaghetti and do a big pot of chili instead. If you are committed to a pasta I'd consider a ziti. The reasoning for me is that ziti and chili are easier to keep for the next day or so.. unless you are making fried spaghetti or spaghetti pie wiht the leftovers! YUM!
