Super Suppers RAVE!
DH and I just went to the new Super Suppers that opened in Nesconset. They have Super Supper 101 sessions where you make an entree yourself...It was so much fun, and as we were cooking we were given appetizers of other entrees available as well...
We wound up buying a few other entrees, but everything was delicious...And a really nice young couple getting married in Sept. owns the place. It's in Nesconset in the Sundried Tomato shopping center.
I'd really like to see the place succeed. We pre-bought entrees for next month but are going to go and make them there in the kitchen.

I used to go to the one Bethpage alot and I loved it. Very convenient. DH and I would take turns each week who would go and make the entrees. But then they raised their prices and it got to be so that it wasn't worth it anymore.

We live close by too!
With the 101 class we both made an entree. When we arrived we were given drinks and apps, then we made braided chicken pesto bread. We kneaded the bread, put in the ingredients, then braided the top of the bread. All set to cook! Those entrees were free for attending the class. When we came home we froze one and baked the other for 1/2 hour, then ate it.
The other entrees were either frozen and prepared or you can go to one of their cooking days and prepare the entrees yourself, leaving out any ingredients you don't like. For example, we liked leaving the mushrooms out tonight.
We bought 2 entrees and a side of au gratin potatoes for $25 (though we got 20% off for attending the class tonight). Each entree has 4 servings in it, so I didn't think the price was too bad, especially since we got the 2 free entrees tonight. 2 entrees should last us 4 meals for the 2 of us, and the potatoes should last 2 meals. The entrees rotate each month. DH and I prepaid for our entrees but said we will go to classes again to make them, since we really did enjoy the cooking aspect of it. Our kitchen is tiny, and we usually don't do complicated bread kneading and stuff like that at home.  DH was so proud of his braided bread.

I just made the chicken pesto bread at the one in Bethpage and then I bought 2 other entrees...the rosemary basil london broil (which DH overcooked  ) and the shrimp ettouffe which I haven't made yet.
Its so simple and so nice to have meals ready to go in the freezer!

Definitely! It was really fun to make the stuff (can you tell I am not too mcuh of a cook?  ).
The wife owner also does spas, so they have special deals where if you go with friends you get a free facial and something else..Maybe a pedi...
