Supposed to start cycle today- venting- sorry!!

So a little backstory- last month on cd1 (mother's day) i woke up around 3 am with excrucuating pain on my right side that radiated to my abdomen. Almost went to ER- but didnt want to ruin Mother's Day since I was hosting brunch( I was in ER last Mother's Day because my back went out and got Spinal injections)- so I beared through the pain. Eventually it went away and left a lingering pain of soreness in my abdomen. Ok- so cd1 comes this month and I wake up Monday at 4am with the same thing! I make my cd3 appt for today- go in and come to find out I have 3 cysts on my right side. This is the side that is blocked. I asked if this is the reason for the pain and they say- one could have burst- maybe that is what is causing it- or you have endometriosis. Great. Just what I need right?! So now, they had to send my blood to make sure they weren't left over follies. they aren't. They are cysts. I was supposed to start gona F today for an IUI cycle(if Oxford approves) or turn it into an IVF cycle if they didn't. Now I have to go back Friday because they don't want to start me on meds with my cysts this size. I really hope I am not out this month. If they don't decrease, what can they do? will this screw me for next month as well?

Oh man! I'm so sorry! I know how you feel!!! I think it depends on your labs. I had the same thing 2 mos. One month I had to skip bc the left over cysts were producing estrogen and my estrogen was too high. The other month all my labs were normal so we went ahead with it even though there were cysts. If it's not one thing it's another right !!!! ing your not out this month!!! There's still hope!

I hate to say tell you this but they probably will not let you cycle this month. They will either let them see if they will dissolve on their own or put you on birth control pills for a couple of weeks. Honestly it is better off that you sit a cycle out. I know it sucks but it will be better for you. When you stim with cysts sometimes they take up the drugs so you don't produce as many follies as you normally would no to mention its dangerous. Hang in there

I sat out one cycle because of this and then took the last cycle off completely and ended up getting preg. My Re says the estrogen that the cysts produce will prevent you from Oing but I ended up Oing on my own and she believes I got preg from that cycle. Clomid can cause these cysts unfortunately. They may put you on BCPs to shrink them faster if they are big and causing pain. I'm so sorry hun I know how bad you wanted to get going with this cycle.
