survival kit for big bro/sis .... from ETSy.... What do you think?
clearly i have nothing better to do LOL. but I am looking for big sister gifts for my daughter when baby#2 is born.
I came across this on etsy....
big sis survival gift
31.50 isnt bad i dont think . but with shipping it comes out to $45. now for $45 i probably can make my own basket. LOL>
What are you ladies doing? Making little baskets for your older child? When will you give it to him/her?
WHat are you putting in there?
I guess If i want to make one myself I should start now, since i have 9 weeks to go and the clock is ticking ;))

It's SUPER cute but I do think you can make it yourself for much cheaper. It's Easter season so there are probably a bunch of cute baskets and buckets at the stores. Target has that section in the front of the store with the cheap stuff like small toys, snacks, stickers and what not.

That's a good idea. The one posted looks a little cheesy to me, but I think you could make an awesome one for alot less money! I think I may make DD one this weekend as a gift from the new baby.

I think that is an adorable idea, but all the things in that basket, including the basket, are from Dollar Tree. My mom picks up something small for DD every time she goes. I think you could do so much better and for a lot less money on your own!!!

really cute idea! i'm definitely gonna do something similiar for DD when DS is born...but nothing in that basket seemed to be worth $30+...i could swear i've seen it all at the dollar store actually

I think you can definately make something similar and BETTER yourself for less money! HIt up the Dollar Tree, Target Dollar Spot, AC Moore/Michael's, Five Below! Maybe I will do the same this weekend! I already have some big gifts for my DD but want to make up a basket/gift bag for her specifically from the baby of fun activities to do while we are at the hospital and while she is at home without me.

I would just steal the idea and make my own
But truthfully, I'd have something for each day she comes to the hospital to visit rather than one basket with everything. That's what we did with DS1 when #2 was born and it was like each time was special for him too.
