Survived my first preggo happy hour
Ok, so for my line of work entertaining clients is the norm. I've passed up the last 2 weeks Happy Hours, but I had to make a cameo last night. Only my mgr (who's female & a grandmother herself) noticed I was ordering non-alcholic drinks (also she overheard me say "I'm so tired", then she smiled so I'm sure she knows something is up). I was dreading this situation, but it was ok.
Question, do you think women have a 6th sense about stuff like this? Only my female co-workers noticed that I've been tired and wasn't drinking. My male co-workers, well I bet it went right over their heads...
