Sweetest Day
Ok did anybody here ever hear of it??? It is soooo big back home like valentines day and last year when FH and i were still doing the long distance realtionship thing i was on him about sweetest day.....he thought i was crazy said he never heard of it. He told me that it must be a Canadian holiday that crossed over to Buffalo (where Im from) i mean its even in the Hallmark stores up there!!!

funny..I think it IS a regional thing-
My boss is from Batavia (up by buffalo), and he bought his wife diamond earrings for sweetest day. I never heard of it until 3 years ago, when i started working for this company.

I just realized today that it was yesterday! then realized yeah i havent seen anything here about it! now that i remembered i will have to lay the guilt trip on FH about forgetting

I never heard of it until I moved to Chicago. We completely forgot about it until they were talking about it on the radio while we were in the car. DH proposed to me on Sweetest Day two years ago.

I never heard of it until last year. It sounds like a Hallmark gimmick holiday to me... I won't hold DH to it. He would say that I'm making up holidays now!!

never heard of it, but it's nice! I don't like V-day cause it's too commercial, and I am the typical, be nice to me all year round, not because the stores say you should be on 2/14.
