swine flu shot

I have 2 little boys ages 2 1/2 & 18 months. I'm very torn if I should get them the h1n1 swine flu shot. I have been hearing alot of different views and could use some help. Any feedback will be greatly appreciated.

I have not done any real research yet, but rather have been made very skeptical by all of the media attention. My DD had her 12 month ped appt today. Her ped strongly suggested that she receive the H1N1 shot in addition to the seasonal flu shot (which she did receive today.) He stated that *he* received both shots and briefly explained that the H1N1 vaccine is made the same way as the seasonal flu shot vaccine. He did not push me but offered written information on the vaccine and asked me to think about it. I will say, I was adamant about not giving it to her before the appt but now I am rethinking my opinion. I mean after all... I reached my decision initially from media snippets and a few online articles. DH and I are going to discuss this and make a final decision very soon.

There are so many opposing views....my ped said she recommends NOT getting it, doesn't think there has been enough research yet....the deal breaker for me was when she said there is no way she would give it to her kids. DS did get the seasonal flu vac though.
