Switching from Low-Carb to WW - weight gain?
I've been considering switching from my low carb South Beach diet to Weight Watchers. I've found that, for me, losing weight on SB is not as sustainable long-term as I'd thought it would be. I've seen the success that other ladies have had with WW and would like to give it a try.
I was wondering, however, if any of you experienced an initial weight GAIN on WW if you switched over from a low-carb diet? I tried WW online a few months back with a friend and actually gained weight the first 2 weeks I was on it - I was sticking to my allotted points, exercising, etc. I was incorporating the WW bars, instant oatmeal and bread into the diet as well though. The weight gain sort of scared me away and back onto the low carb bandwagon.
Any advice? Thanks!

As someone who has experienced both, here are my thoughts:
1) SB - great for SHORT TERM quick weight loss. I lost about 10 lbs on it so fast! I wasn't hungry and looked very lean!
As SOON as I started to eat semi-normal again though, I gained it all back!
2) WW - I know so many people have such great results with this, but I felt like I was starving all the time on it. Maybe I gave up too soon though... I think I just didn't give my body enough time to adjust to it.
After New Years I am just going to start going to the gym and eating in moderation! Good luck!

I also wanted to add that I think azoodie used SB to jump start her weight loss and then switched to WW so you might want to FM her about her experience!
