switching from yo baby yogurt to regular??
hi all... just wondering when did you switch to regular yogurt for you little one???
my DS is 16 months and i just didnt know when you move from yo baby to a regular yogurt..

My DD's been having regular yogurt since 11 months. We just read the labels for the ones that we buy.

DS has regular yogurt at 15 months, but greek yogurt since it's still full fat and doesn't have the artificial sweeteners that other yogurts have in them.

we never started out with baby yogurt... didnt know you had to...
so i guess with both my kids i would have to say between 5-6 months old.
i just made sure it was appertain FREE

I would wait until 2 years old, when you do the switch from whole milk to lower fat. Until then baby needs all the fat in baby yogurt.

DS turned 2 two weeks ago, I just stopped giving him Yo Baby this past weekend. It was more so because he loved it though, I don't think you have to ever do baby yogurt. We still have DD on it at 12 months though. Now we buy DS Trader Joe's Organic Yogurt or Stonyfield Farms.

I started with yo baby but hated that it was so runny. I ended up buying the trader joes yogurt that is made with whole milk as the consistency is much thicker.

i've been giving DS stonyfield farms organic french vanilla cream top. it's full fat, comes in a 32oz container, and is usually on sale for $3 or so.
he's 10mos, he's been getting it for 2mos.

he's 10mos, he's been getting it for 2mos.
We've been switching with the Stonyfield full fat or trader joe's full fat since DS started yogurt at 5 or 6 months. I plan on only using full fat until he is 2 years or older.

We recently started giving this to DS too. I'll be giving him full fat yogurt until he's at least 2 years old.
