Switching timing on OPK from afternoon to FMU?
So I used the opk's yesterday (CD10) and today (CD11) and I tried both times to do it in late afternoon as I've read on here is best. THe box says FMU is fine but I know this is only second best. The thing is it is really hard for me during the day to time my schedule around taking it and not drinking and not peeing is VERY VERY difficult. IN fact, yesterday I took it at 3 and today I wasn't able to do it until 8pm. So, starting tomorrow I want to take it with FMU - will the switch in time make a difference? TIA!

I'd really just try to stick with the afternoon. It doesn't matter how late it is... I've done it as late as 11 pm and have gotten an +OPK.
The LH is synthesized in your body during the day, so it shows up in the afternoon. Once you start testing in the morning, you wouldn't get that night before of +OPK so you might miss a good opportunity for BDing. KWIM?

I know - I am so torn about this.
To be honest, its REALLY hard for me to not pee for that long - ever since having DS I really pee every 2 hrs during the day It is really uncomfortable and I am worried the holding in is going to give me a UTI

you should be okay with 2 hours honestly.. if you could try to stretch it to 3 hours that would be fine!

Isn't there a chance then that I would miss it entirely if it wasn't concentrated enough b/c I went too soon? The test says at least 4 hours

I used to only wait 90 minutes and was fine.
