Sympathy gift please help
A good friend of my DH's sister died suddenly this weekend. Besides a floral arrangement for the funeral what can we send directly to DH's friend? TIA

I think food is a good idea. When Scott's dad passed away, people sent food to his sister's house. No one feels like cooking during a time like that, but you do have to eat.

food- when my Mom passed away we got so much- deli platters- dinners for local resturants
the door bell did not stop ringing
we ate b/c it was there- it was good
