Take it from where it came and with a grain of salt, do you agree?
I seem to be the type to let things go, for the most part.
Do you really put stock in a lot of things or let things get to you?
Or are you the type to get itched by it and then move on?

for me it depends on how close to my heart the person is.

Re: Take it from where it came and with a grain of salt, do you agree?
If the person doesn't know me or happens to be super ignorant - then whatever they say means NOTHING to me.
If it is someone who I love, admire or respect... a hurtful word or gesture is difficult for me to swallow and leads to a lot of self analyzing.
So I guess I do TRULY 'take it from where it comes'.

Depends on the situation, who says it, and how much I am PMSing that day

I seem to be the type to let things go, for the most part.
I pretty much get over it, and move on as well.

my father always said "don't argue with an idiot, they will never realize when they have lost the arguement".
eta: for me, it depends on who it comes from. My grandma, I take wholeheartedly. From others...i wont care as much!

Nah, I don't put much stock in what people say. Everyone has an off day. Unless, every day is an off day, then I just take it from where it came.

Things don't normally get to me - unless they're made personal. That absolutely doesn't fly with me.
