Taking socks off in car...
is MADDENING
How do you prevent this? she thinks it is the most hilarious thing on the planet to rip her socks off and EAT them.
I open the back door to get her and she giggles and kicks and throws them.
It is now 20 below, I have to search car for said WET socks that will surely cause frost bite on her tiny toes....

Re: Taking socks off in car...
my DD just started REFUSING to wear socks! I put them on her, she takes them off then yells to have them put on and she will do this over and over! She hasnt worn socks in days... luckily she dosnt do that in the car cuz she has shoes on and she cant get them off Maybe you should try putting shoes on her in the car?

DD does the same thing. In the car, in the house, at daycare, in the store

Re: Taking socks off in car...
Same story here !!!!!!!
We literally went through 3 pairs of socks today because she hides them on me ! I have to admit its the cutest thing, because I'll say " Lexi, wheres your socky foot (what I call it) ?" ...She looks down and starts pulling on her toes , then goes and brings them to me

Re: Taking socks off in car...
i have the same issue - but she's not up to 'taking them off' - but kicking her feet so much they come off.
i've resorted to using feety pants....

I put robeez on DD when it was very cold. She couldn't usually get them off.

Re: Taking socks off in car...
I got a pair of socks from Target that have velcro on the back that keeps them on - they were like $5 and worth every penny!

Re: Taking socks off in car...
I put shoes on them when we go out. I got the prewalker shoes on sale from stride rite and they are pretty difficult to get off. Robeez-type shoes they were able to get off.

Re: Taking socks off in car...
Chloe does the same thing. I put shoes on when we go out for this reason. She has been living in the fur lined booties (similar to robees) from target.

Re: Taking socks off in car...
Oh yeah, i'm in the same boat. I know have to make sure I have an extra pair of socks in the bag so that I can put DRY socks on her before I take her out. Lots of fun....
