Taking them outside for fresh air while sick?
I dont know whats better... to take them outside on a beautiful day like today all bundled up when Emma is at the tail end of a cold and Jeremy is about 1/2 way through. He has a phlemy cough but is otherwise ok. Fresh air better for them?

I would think fresh air is good-I remember whenever I was sick my mom would open all the windows in our house to let the fresh air in

I agree thats what my mom did she would either open up the windows or she would let me sit on the porch with some layers on

defintely, fresh air is best. Being outside won't make them sick (or sicker) and opening up the windows gets the germs out IMO.

ALL my kids are pretty sick (we had the flu last week!! ) and I had them out in the fresh air today! It made them feel better, althought they coughed non-stop!

We still go out if she has a cough or cold, we just try not to go around other kiddos since I wouldn't want to get anyone else sick.

Definitely take him out, especially if he is phlgemy (sp?) my dr. said it helps them get it all out.

I think that fresh air is good and I would open the windows of the house and let it air out.. Nothing worse then letting kids sit in a germ infested house.. So spray it up with Lysol, open the windows and take the kids out! Enjoy!
