Talk to me about hot rollers
Anyone have hot rollers? Any specific brands that you like or any gripes?

Re: Talk to me about hot rollers
I have them. They're ConAir "More Big Curls". I've had this set for several years and they've been great. It has the one roller that changes color to let you know when it's hot. The middle of the curler is some kind of fabric that helps grip the hair and it comes with the pins to to hold them in place on your yead. The ONLY thing I don't like about them is that I have thick long hair and sometimes I run out of curlers.

It sounds like I have this same set - I know mine is by Conair too. I have thick hair, but a bit past shoulder length, and generally use all but 2 or 3 of the curlers. I love using them for special occasions.

I have ZERO hair skills, I can't even figure out how to hold the hair dryer and use the brush at the same time while drying my hair, and I use these rollers a lot. I just put them in, leave them on till they're cool and take them out, separating the curls with my fingers.

You know what helped me figure out how to do it? I got my hair done with curlers in a salon a few times for special events and I learned to just copy what they did. They don't use the same types of curlers, of course, but I learned where to place the curlers, which direction to curl them in, what to do after the curlers came out, etc.
