Talking at 13.5 months old?

Does anyone's child say any words at this age, besides ma ma and da da? Connor hasn't said anything else yet, and I'm pretty sure he should be? He makes all sorts of sounds and noises but hasn't put anything together. Thanks!

My son had some words then, but between 15 months and now (about 17 months) he has started using so many more words.

DD is 12.5 months and she doesn't say mama or dada yet (she'll say them but not in regards to us).

She will however say more - she loves to eat and always says more when she is done. She will also say hi.

He says Mama, Dada, and Randa (for his sister), baba, and sometimes I swear he says what's that but he's way too young for that

My DS did not say any real words until about 21 months... At 13 months it was dada, mama, and then alot of babble. Dont worry...Chat Icon

Re: Talking at 13.5 months old?

At 14 months he is saying Gah and pointing to the dogs (?). He says hi, bye, and waves, but only when he feels like it. Says mama and dada but not consistently. I think he is saying "more" for food but I'm not sure. He definitely knows Ball, but he says it randomly. I feel like he KNOWS alot but isn't saying it just yet...but I guess they do it when they're ready!! I just want him to stop grunting and getting mad because we don't know what he wants!!
