Talking to those without kids
and I don't mean on here. I'm talking about when you talk to co-workers about what you are doing with DC.
Do you think they get it? And I'm not talking down to anyone, like if you don't have kids you won't understand. Because it's not always a parent thing, you know.
I was just speaking to a co-worker about enrolling DD in school starting in January. And she was like, no she's not, she's only 2.... And I was going through why we are doing it and she was just looking at me and shaking her head, like wow.
And I don't want to get defensive and yell because it wasn't that type of conversation and because its my (our) decision as to when to do what with our child.
Do you find this happens to you?

I think this occurs with both parents and nonparents (as evidenced by the DWToTing post ).
Generally, I don't talk about things like that with my nonparent friends mostly because I just assume they wouldn't be interested in why I'm sending my 2 year old to nursery school (which we did this September, BTW and she loves it).

Re: Talking to those without kids
I find its a case of picking your audience, its not that people don't care, but tbh I don't want to hear about my co-workers love life, and I know she don't wanna hear about potty training my kid. Know what I mean?
I save the funny/gross stories for my friends/co-workers without kids!
