Tall Maternity Pants?
Any of the girls here 5 8 and over? I am not in need of maternity pants quite yet but wanted to start looking since buying pants is a NIGHTMARE for me to begin with since I need a 34 inch inseam or I look like I'm ready for the flood!
I went to a few websites- Gap, Old Navy, Destination Maternity- and when I narrow it by Tall inseams- I get about 2 pairs of pants on each site... and all ugly as sin...
Anyone know where I can find long length maternity pants?
I am thinking I will be wearing a lot of skirts and dresses if it's like this!

Re: Tall Maternity Pants?
I don't know your budget, but you might want to try some of the designer jeans, like Joe's, Paige, True Religion. They are pricey, but have a lot of length.

Re: Tall Maternity Pants?
Don't get me started!! Apparently, tall women don't get pregnant. I ranted about this last time and this time is no different.
The Gap only makes talls in basic colors like black and khaki - no browns, grays or beiges.
Mimi Maternity just started making talls, but again, only in black. Tall women don't like cute clothes or variety.
I had some luck last pregnancy with JCPenney. I haven't checked this time yet.
I know there's more but I'm too busy being annoyed by the places closest to me to explore just yet.
I can't wait until it warms up a bit. I'm going to wear dresses every day from March to July.

Yes I did see the jeans.
It's the dress pants/work pants that I am having trouble with. They acutally had some cute cords but of course they had NOTHING in my size in the long inseam....
This is going to a problem I can tell already....

You know this reminds me of a few years back when it was SO hard to find Tall pants at all- for anyone. We finally made some strides and are able to find tall pants in the mainstream- and BAM- we get pregnant and we are back to square one again!
And the WORST part is - you can't add length to pants- I can't buy a shorter length and make it work. But if it was too long you could easily shorten them! WHYYYYYYYYYY???

EXACTLY!
No offense to all my short friends, but you do have options. Sure it may be annoying to have your clothes tailored but at least it can be done!
Us? We get flood jokes.
Add this to the list of things that are pisssing me off today.

I'm with you. I'm raging on IM to my husband now. He thinks I'm overreacting. I told him to try it.
It's bad enough that I will be feeling SO unsexy and big etc and this is a huge adjustment bodywise for me.
Now I have to look like I'm ready for the flood too... wonderful!

Re: Tall Maternity Pants?
I know at Motherhood they make petite, regular, and tall. I am 5'4" and need the petite- which I usually don't because I'm wide, lol, and it takes up some slack. so I bet the tall would be good for your height. hth

Re: Tall Maternity Pants?
I know u want dress pants...BUT just to let u knw Old navy in the source mall has LONG jeans..I just bought 2 pairs on sunday. They have a light color and a dark. The one pair sits right under the waist while the other pair is full panel.
Ihave one pair of reallyyyyyyyyyyy long maternity pants that my mom found in macy's in manhasset (destination maternity brand) it was so long when i wore them to work that i was draggin them on the floor. However, they are sooo comfy...try there too!!

Re: Tall Maternity Pants?
I'm 5'9 with no shoes and I KNEW this would be a problem as soon as I got my BFP. I got a few pairs from Old Navy online and NY&Co online. They have long length even though theyre not maternity the pull-ons still fit me and I'm almost 39 weeks. Theyre sooooo comfortable and on sale now if you need dress pants. Otherwise I'm stuck on leggings and yoga pants at home.

None of the Motherhood's I have ever been to make tall. They only carry petite and regular. Maybe they have talls online, but I've never seen them in the store.
Last pregnancy, I had a sales girl (of average height - probably about 5'4") tell me that the regulars would fit me because "they're really long." I almost strangled her with the pants, but she shouldn't have insisted.

The problem I am running into now is the sizes. I need a small Tall and there are like NONE left anywhere! I saw such cute ones in Old Navy too- but all XXL and XL in the talls...

Re: Tall Maternity Pants?
I still wear my non-maternity pants from NY&CO. I did throughout my pregnancy with DS as well. They are stretchy tops, and in tall. I am 5'11" and the pants drag on the floor sometimes (if I don't pull them up over my belly).

Re: Tall Maternity Pants?
I feel your pain! I am 6'1 so far Ive had luck with Old Navy (never online but in the stores. And believe it or not Target has a line by Liz Lange (sp) it really affordable and Id go one size up and do a belt and the lengths were fine! However I tend to wear more leggings and dresses since I dont have a "huge" selection of nice fitting pants
