Tampon
Hi ladies....
I wasn't sure where to post this, I figured here would be ok.
Can you recommned a brand of tampons you like? I don't normally wear them because they are uncomfortable for me. I will be going away next week and unfortunately AF will be visiting
TIA

Re: Tampon
Are they uncomfortable when in place, or just when you're inserting? I use Playtex Gentle Glide--get the variety pack so you have a little bit of everything.

They are uncomfortable in place. I seem to feel them in there. It doesn't hurt or anything like that. I just feel them in there. Since I am going away, I wanted to use them even though I will probably feel them. I just wanted to buy a package of ones that other ladies are comfortable with.
Thanks for your suggestion

I don't know if this is TMI.. but you might not be inserting it far enough... Are you inserting up to the ridges of the applicator?
I use playtex gentle glide as well...

Re: Tampon
I liked o.b. for years.
No applicator. It's smaller and I don't feel it compared to applicator brands. It doesn't slip compared to the applicator brands. I still use applicator brands when glide is needed. LOL, i sound like a commercial.
A few years ago, I switched to Natracare organic (no bleach and stuff). Very similar to o.b.

That's what I was thinking...I know sometimes if I'm in a rush or something and it doesn't go all the way up (sorry TMI) then I can feel it like when I sit down.
And I use Tampax Pearl.

Re: Tampon
You shouldn't feel anything once they are in place. It sounds like you are not putting it in far enough
I prefer Playtex Gentle Glide also

Also, and also TMI, but sometimes, they might need to go in on an angle. If they are in properly, you will not feel them.
I like playtex gentle glide or tampax pearl. DO NOT use BEYOND...something is wrong with the applicator that they don't go up iykwim.

I use Playtex--- I find Tampax brand very uncomfortable.. They are too long for my, uh, area... Playtex are shorter and fatter!

AGREE!!! I feel like playtex expands width wise for maximum coverage while tampax expands length wise? Either way, I prefer Playtex. i've used the sport line as well and have no complaints..

Same here. I guess in this case, size does matter! I prefer Playtex over Tampax anyday.
As far as feeling uncomfortable when in, I agree that it might not have been inserted far enough.

Re: Tampon
I switched to Playtex Sport. You may find it easier to insert w/ the applicator it comes with.........
I've wasted many tampons b/c they were "inserted" wrong.........and it didnt feel right. You wont have a problem w/ these. They are a pink box as well.
Good luck!
