Tanning Salons Poll. STAND UP or LIE IN BED?
I used to like the beds when I was younger - I liked falling asleep and relaxing.
Now, I prefer stand-up booths - quick and easy - no sweaty mess.
Discuss!

I haven't been tanning in ages, but the one time I did the stand up booth I almost passed out!

Stand up gives me a more even tan. I also get skeeved knowng that someone was sweating before me on the bed being naked. I dont care how much they claim to disinfect. In my mind, it would never be good enough.
ETA:
When I go, I go very slowly. For the first time, I would go for maybe 5 minutes for 2-3 sessions and then increase by one minute or two until I get results I want without cooking myself. I am very fair skinned.

always the stand up - more sanitary! also, they give a stronger tan faster w/not too many tan-lines.

I really don't like the stand up beds. They always burn me, and you get a stupid line on your face from the goggles. Plus, I always feel like I am going to pass out in them.

I never use goggles... Hardly any lines for me, except for under the boobs - when you're "blessed" with DD's, I guess this is bound to happen.

I wear contacts and it bothers my eyes if I don't wear goggles.

I used to do doubles, x amount of minutes in the bed, then x amount of minutes in the stand-up to avoid any kind of "white spots".
If I do happen to go to a tanning salon, I primarily use a stand-up.

Ohhh that's a good idea! I never thought of that. In the tanning bed, I would always get untanned spots under my armpits and down a little further under my arms.
