Tantrums at home but not at daycare??
So little Miss Elizabeth has started to have tantrums when she doesn't get her way at home. Today at daycare I asked if she has tantrums there and they looked at me like I was nuts. Never. Not a single tantrum. 
They said her latest trick is that she goes around hugging all of the other babies and then pushes them away   but no tantrums...
What the heck? I'm assuming she's just testing us, but I'm sure they don't let her do everything she wants at daycare....What gives? Any BTDT advice?

She is just testing her boundaries with you. I think it's typically "normal" for them to test us, as parents, a little more.

I agree...DS is an angel for daycare and my SIL who watches him 2 days, he's also good for me and my DH at home but we def see more temper tantrums, while they almost never see them

My kids aren't in daycare but I will tell you that both of them have ALWAYS been perfect angels out of the house and any tantrums/misbehavior usually happens at home. I think it's pretty normal. They know we have to love them.

this is so the little boy I babysit for.
Never cries or hits. Always leaves the park with no problem.
When his mom comes, all hell breaks out! Slapping her, kicking, screaming.
I went to his house for dinner, he was a different kid. I did not even recognize him! He was a terror!

children are always worse at home, they feel more comfortable, know that you would not turn your back on them, etc
it is normal, aren't tantrums fun
