Re: Target brand vs name brand???
Just giving a little bump for you :)
I don't have any experience with it, but I was checking out the Target formula last night and couldn't believe the price difference. I believe it was the equivilent to Similac that was $11 for the 25oz can. That is $10 cheaper than name brand!

I would imagine, since most generic products have the same ingredients as the name brand. I didn't look at the labels though.

Re: Target brand vs name brand???
I know Nancy has used store brands and I would trust her judgement, she has 2 healthy beautiful kids she doesnt post that often, but you can FM her.
If i didnt get such killer deals on my formula with my checks and coupons (practically free ) Id definitely try store brand. By law, they have to have the same ingredients (or certain amts of the ingredients) and pass the same standards.
maybe do a search and look for previous posts.

You can check out the formulas and they are nearly identical. nancy showed me this too. As Anna said here are gov't regulations for formula.

I just bought my first can. I compared the labels and everything is the same. I'll be so happy if Charlie takes it the same way as the Gentlease. The moneywe could save

Re: Target brand vs name brand???
I've used store brands and no problems... I think in the beginning it was more in my head that they weren't the same and that DS was acting different - he wasn't. It saved loads of money and with the next kid they are getting store brand as soon as I stop breastfeeding.
