Target photo studio..who has been??
For those of you who have had their dc's pictures taken at Target, can you please tell me what your experience was like?
I made an appointment for Megan for next Thursday. I have tried everywhere else..I HATE Sears and Kiddie Kandids is good but always takes SO LONG. I remember loving the pictures that I have seen on here that were done by target.
Do they offer a cd? Put them online like sears does? Or do you have to buy EVERYTHING just from them? Also, is their studio "out in the open" like Kiddie Kandids?
I made an appointment with a professional studio near us but if I like Targets, I will just use theirs for our christmas card.
Any experiences??

Re: Target photo studio..who has been??
I use Target last year for Christmas pictures and loved them. The appointments do get backed up but I thought it was worth it. The girls are really good with the kids. They do have the option to get them online it takes about a week for them to be online though. I remember waiting and waiting. I dont remember if they sell a disk but you def dont get one for free. Call and ask them any questions you have ask for Anna she was so sweet on the phone. I have an appointment the day after Thanksgiving. If you go on the website they have coupons too.

Re: Target photo studio..who has been??
We went to the one in Bayshore and Kelly did our shoot. I really liked her and we were supposed to go back last week, but DD got a cut on her face so we have to reschedule.
We went 6 months ago and did not have to wait at all to take our pics. Kelly was great with DD who wasn't totally sitting up on her own yet so they had me hold her behind the curtain. The prices were GREAT - I didn't get a ton, but I did get alot and only paid about $30.
The way they work is they take the pics and show you a preview on a computer monitor. You then choose which ones to order and they send them to the lab. Processesing takes 2 weeks (or 10 business days, something like that). The pictures will be available for online viewing to do re-orders or order additional portraits, but they are much more expensive than if you order them when you are there.
From what I heard, they are planning on switching to digital in the near future. Also, make sure you bring your coupon.

Re: Target photo studio..who has been??
I went twice, prices are much better than anywhere if you use a coupon you can get them as low as 3.99 per sheet with no sitting fee. The first time, no wait, the 2nd time not so lucky. Still better than kk imo. Not sure about the cd and it takes about a week to view them online and then I think they stay online for about 3 months or so in case you want to order more. I say go for it.
ETA the location I went to they did it in a room with the door closed.
