Tatoo question
I want to get a tatoo (either on my hip or on my upper back) but I have some weight to lose. I also evenually plan on having more kids. Is the tatoo going to get all stretched and warped with me losing/gaining weight? Would you wait to get the tatoo or does it really not matter? TIA!!

Re: Tatoo question
I have one on my back and gave birth ot my DS in Jan 08. My tattoo still looks the same. My sister has one on her lower stomach and had three kids and that still looks the same too.

Re: Tatoo question
My aunt has a hummingbird on a flower on her lower stomach/hip area. She carried twins. Her stomach was HUGE!!! The little hummingbird tat was maybe the size of a fist, it grew to the size of a honeydew melon.
Her tattoo completely shrank back to what it was.

Re: Tatoo question
wait. a couple of friends of mine have had babies and had stomach and hip tattoos and they look like crap! i did get my arms done knowing i wanted to lose weight and tone so i'm curious how it'll turn out when i lose it all but i didn't wait since it was arms.
shorty, your stomach is COMPLETELY different after you have the baby. i had a few stretch marks (not many) on my belly towards the end of my pregnancy, the second i had Declan, my stomach is a freaking road map and is beyond droopy. before i was pregnant i was "big boned" and my stomach never drooped like that. so just be aware it might be affected afterwards

Re: Tatoo question
I have one low on my hip and it wasn't affected by the pregnancy because it was almost on my hip bone.
I don't think it will really matter, unless it's a REALLY significant amount of weight.
