Tattoo people....need some help
First help: being somewhere unfamiliar, how do you go about finding a reputable/decent artist? I am surprising DH with the final touches on his leg piece that his friend will be drawing and sending to me without DH knowing about it! He's been wanting it for years now.
Second Help: can anyone find a daisy, but more tribal than "flowery"? I have my tribal butterfly and don't want to add something that will be not in the same style, ya know what I mean?

i think word of mouth is the best way to find a good tattoo artist..
one that you see their real work
maybe come up here to get it?

I have a great tattoo artist, he is the owner of Lotus Tattoo in Sayville. He books up quickly and sometimes for months so make sure you call. He has been in dozens of ink magazines and he has gone all over the world for his work. Prices are competetitive so that's a plus

booked up doesn't even explain it..
he is booked up over 3 months in advance

maybe I didn't think so. . . but keep in mind if you think so your paying for an awesome tat that your going to have on your body for life. He did my ex's whole back and it was absolutely amazing. He also redid my tattoo which is a decent size and I am so happy with it.

and i heard, i am assuming that you are talking about Civ...
that he charges close to 500 per hour...
but that could be a cheesy rumor cause no matter how good he is....i would opt to go elsewhere
i went there in June to inquire...said his next available apt was OCT

Yep it's Civ, I think that must of been a rumor you heard because my tattoo took almost 2 hours and it was $250

then a competitor tattoo artist has been tellin fibs..
well i didn't like him anyway (the other tattoo artist)
i did like LOVE Lotus...
very friendly people ...
got great vibes there...
