tax exempt question
I just shopped at Lakeshore for the first time and they asked me "are you a teacher shopping for school?" I answered school and gave my school's name. My receipt printed without tax and she made me sign my receipt. I'm not planning to submit my receipt for reimbursement since it was only $5, but my receipt printed with my school district's # and address on it. Is this going to raise a red flag with an auditor or something? I wasn't trying to do the wrong thing...

Re: tax exempt question
Why won't you submit it? I don't think it should be a problem, though. I havne't heard of anything like that.

Re: tax exempt question
I won't submit because it's just $5... It's such an ordeal and it will take months to come through. If it were more than that I would...

Re: tax exempt question
Oh. We have it where you submit up until $250 or so. So we submit them all at once.
