tax question...
my DH claims me since i am currently not working but im curious is our ING account a tax write-off? I got an email about them sending me tax forms also are my student loans a tax write off?? im clueless when it comes to this stuff

I belive the interest from both accounts is the write off. Definately show to your accountant.

Your student loan interest is a write off, but your interest on your savings accounts is not. That's part of your income.

i don't know about ING, but the interest you paid on your student loans this year is deductible.

Your student loans are not always deductiible. Your salary has to be below a certain amount (60K I think), and you have to be out of school less than 6 years.
Double check me, but that was the rule a few years ago.
