Tax Question- Business owners
As a small business owner do you do your own taxes or have them done? I always did our own but since opening our own business I don't want to mess anything up. Any advice? Thanks!

My DH has an accountant (CPA) do both the business taxes and our own returns.

I work for my FIL who is a small business owner and I am the one that pays the taxes. It is very difficult and can be overwhelming. Although I sometimes feel like "I have the hang of it", I sure wish he would pay someone else to do it

Accountant. For me, it's good not to have to stress over this.
I still need to keep records of business expenses by category, such as, telephone, utilities, rent, equipment, education, etc.

I use an accountant. I keep track of my clients' paperwork very well but I do not have the same patience when it comes to my own.
