I answered on your other thread.
There are certain deductions that can be made if you make the home more energy efficient during renovations... new boiler, new oil tank, new windows, new exterior doors, new insulation.
See the other thread for more info.
I do not know if the same applies for new construction but it might if you use more energy efficient materials/systems.
