Tea tree oil - oh god

the past couple of days i've been using tea tree oil on my face for some pimples. i just did a search online and it says don't use it during pregnancy. Chat Icon
should i be freaking out? i haven't used it often during the last few months, maybe a handful of times...

It's topical, so I wouldn't worry too much. I forget the skin care product, but a friend told me that her doc said it was ok to use, as long as she wasn't "drinking it." But I wouldn't use it any more.

Tea Tree Oil is safe to use during pregnancy. I have been using essential aromatherapy oils throughout my pregnancy and they are safe to use.

i don't know, all the websites just said it shouldn't be used my pregnant or nursing women. Chat Icon

I think if you've only used it a few times you are fine, but I would stop using it now. It stinks because there seems to be very little to use for pimples that is safe during pregnancy!!!

it stinks, tea tree oil is one of the few things that works for me too.
