Teacher Appreciatoin Day
I am the class mom of my DD's Kindergarten class, and I am trying to figure out Teacher Appreciation Day. Every year in daycare I would get the teachers something. I would like to do a group gift for her Kindergarten teacher but the PTO has rules and you can't ask for money. How do you ask other parents to chip in for a gift if you can't ask for money. Any thoughts? Do you normally do something for grade school teachers in a group or individual gifts?

As a teacher, I love this idea! It's super cute and thoughtful. What about asking each parent to complete a page and you could put together a book for the teacher? Have the kids write their name, and maybe 3 things they love about their teacher/class, or something like that.

You're welcome. Whenever I gave them to ds's teachers, he always said it made them cry and they walked around showing it off!
