Teacher Eval. Binder
Does anyone else have to turn in a physical 3 ring binder with evidence or "artifacts" of Domain 4 from Danielson?
Mine is due on Friday and I'm still so stuck on ideas of what to put into it!

We had to do a full portfolio with artifacts for every domain
For Domain 4, I included things like...
--post-lesson reflection notes
--notes from principals thanking me for volunteering at after school events/functions
--examples of anecdotal notes
--intervention progress report that I created that is given to classroom teacher and sent home to parents (I'm a reading teacher)
--professional e-mails between myself and colleagues
--IST/RTI paperwork and reports
--description of in-service class
--phone log/communication log with parents
eta: I'm sure you have this already but here is the breakdown of what encompasses Domain 4...
Domain 4: Professional Responsibilities
4a Reflecting on Teaching
4b Maintaining Accurate Records
4c Communicating with Families
4d Participating in a Professional Community
4e Growing and Developing Professionally
4f Showing Professionalism

Do u work for NYC I haven't heard of this and if u domis this for tenure

We had to do this. Our principal collected a "brag sheet" but we had to show her "artifacts". Some things to make sure you have: student driven data, teacher driven data, student-parent communication, and teacher-parent communication.

This is part of APPR. All teachers tenure or not get evaluated by Domain 4 (as well as domains 1-3) if you get evaluated with Danielson. It stinks!

That is crazy. Our district was like, "just email a list of things you already do and That's fine." Didnt have,to stress about it at all.

Ours was similar to this. We had a 20-30 minute meeting and went over the things we did that exemplified Domain 4, but we did not need an evidence binder or artifacts. That is how our union had written the wording.
I guess if they seriously doubted you then they would need documentation, but they pretty much took our word for it.
