Teachers help! End of year gift?
My DC's class has already chipped in to purchase one large gift card....
I would like to give the teacher a little something just from DC on the last day, along with a thank you note I wrote her.
What would you prefer?
Flowers? A nice plant? Edible arrangements basket?
She is married, middle aged, and just became a grandmother if that helps any!

I like all your suggestions but a gift card is always nice too. I've gotten gift cards to Borders mostly but Macy's too. ALways appreciated.

I always apreciate a GC to Starbucks or DD.
ETA Honestly, a nice heartfelt card or letter is 100X more meaningful than a mug or something like that. I save all those letters and reread them. They are really the best gift a teacher can get!

Since the class has gotten her a gift card already, then from the three you posted I would love a plant. Something that she will always have.

How about ine of those tote bahg that you can put pictures into the front of to show off her new grandbaby? I think I've seen them at Lillian Vernon and Red Envelop.

ANother G/C would be very appreciative. I know that even a couple of buck to B&N or Borders is so great for everyone.
That said, a mom gave me a plant 2 years ago and it's still alive!
