teachers need your advice!!

Ok so i emailed my principal over the summer and i asked for 2 days off in March bc i have a wedding out of state. So she emailed me back saying that she doesnt see a problem with it and good luck getting good airfare prices. WELL.... i go to work last week and we are having PTC on one of the days i took off. AM/PM PTC on the sme day. Now what would u do??? would u say something now or wait? I know she is going to tell me not to go but for all she knows i could of bought the tickets already. i could also make up the PTC on my own time but i dont think she will go for that.

If you really want to go, I'd tell her you already bought the tix because she made you nervous that they'd be too expensive if you waited.

did you put in for the personal days yet? Im not sure how it works in your district, but we actually have to submit a form and wait for an approval from our personnel office...


I have missed parent teacher night because of a field trip before, and my school was fine with it... i would maybe wait a couple of weeks, then bring it up to her when she is in a good mood... I would say I just noticed that we have PTC on this date, and I have a wedding to attend... I had emailed you the dates a while back, and I already purchased my flights... is it okay if I re-schedule with parents before or after I get back?
