Teachers- Next year?
When do you find out your placements for next year?
My principal always shakes things up in May. Each year we find out if we are staying in the same grade or moving...
I am staying in first grade next year...I have never been moved yet. You just never know at my school....
Good luck to all who are switching grade levels.

All of ours are always tentative until September but as it stands now I will be in 7th grade for my 11th year.

last day of school, but I am not expecting anything to change. I teach 7th grade math in a team, so it is hard to move us around too much.

Last day of school but anything can change over the summer.
It would be great if I just had two different courses instead of four (high school) like every other high school.

We found out a few weeks ago...and I was told I would be teaching kindergarten again....but the budget in my district went down....and the roomer going around is that they could go back to 1/2 day kindergarten or cut out 1 section....I hope its just roomers because I really love my job. The board is deciding tomorrow night if they are putting the budget out for a revote or not.

they tell us at the end of the year, but it doesn't mean anything because by the time the fall rolls around, it could change. That happened to me last year.

Most of us teach summer school. We find out our summer school placements in mid June and our September placements at the end of summer school in August.

I found out about January that I'll be moving down to 7th grade (from 8th) next year. the 7th grade teachers are looping with their students, so i'll be doing that next year as well
