sorry teachers deferred annuity...retirement fund. i am hoping to contribute but don't know how much of my check should go towards it.

At the moment, 7% and I forget which annuity I am in, but it's the riskier of the two (A maybe).
I won't be retiring for a very long time so that's why I chose the riskier (and for now, higher-yielding) one. I'll be more conservative when the time for retiring comes closer.
ETA- the whole 7% is all in variable A.
ETA again: put in as much as you can. It also helps at tax time.

Is that the same at the TSA (Tax Sheltered Annuity) or 403B?
