Teachers you'll appreciate this one...
So one of my students comes to me today and hands me an envelope. I open it and it's a $25 giftcard for Staples with a little note from the parent saying buy something for your classroom.
This is by far one of the sweetest things that a parent has ever done for me. I've only had her child for 8 days. I don't work in a nice neighborhood, we're used to getting dirty looks and such, so this really made my day.
