Teachers...8th grade math help
My nephew had a problem, and he has to put it into an algabraic expression. It's not making sense to me..."the number of minutes in s seconds?" Don't you need more info?

so in algebraic terms,
m = 60s

Whatever s equals, if you divide by 60, you get the # of minutes

This is an algebraic equation, an algebraic expression doesn't have an equals sign.

Thanks, I teach 7th grade math . Can you tell my mind is on conversions??
If you are trying to solve the number of minutes in s seconds, then I think it is m = s/60 or just s/60
