If he can't get his masters by then he can apply for an extention. I think he should take the job and just take a class or 2 every semester and also during the summer. If its still not done in time just get the extention

He should be able to get his masters while he teaches. I was able to do it while I was teaching. I took two classes a semester and more over the summer. I was able to get it done in less than 3 years. I would not give up a teaching job to go back to school.

same here! My masters program was only 30 credits (literacy) and i was able to finish in a year and a half while teaching full time. I wouldnt give up a teaching position at this time, its just too risky but thats just me.

he has 10 sememsters (including summers) to finish him masters - that's more than enough time...in fact he could take one class a session and be ok (take 6 one summer)
sometimes taking time off looks bad - like you were not asked back. I would keep going if I were him.

He should not give up his job. He can go to school at night or online. I did it the online way. It worked out,..but I worked my butt off!
