Teaching pre-school questions
For those of you who have taught or teach pre-school I have a few questions and I would so appreciate some answers. I am considering teaching pre-school if I don't have a job in September. Here are my questions, feel free to FM me if you would rather.
Where did you work? Tutor Time? Kindercare? Is discount childcare offered? If so, how much off? How much did the medical coverage cost you per month? Did you have to work FT during the summer?
TIA I really need to get a plan B whether it be pre-school or subbing.

Re: Teaching pre-school questions
You can FM where I worked if you want. It was a terrible place.
No health insurance, no discount childcare. You had the option to work over the summer.

Re: Teaching pre-school questions
I worked at Long Island Head Start. It wasn't really that bad and the pay was a lot more than Tutor Time/Kindercare or any of those pre-schools. I had full medical coverage and for me i didn't have to pay in to it at all. (Not sure what you would have to pay in for a family) Also not sure if this has changed bc I worked there 4 years ago.
ETA: Didn't work over the summer and didn't get paid for it.
