Teaching Spanish and rates
I am not a license teacher but currently teaching Spanish to adults. The project ends this month. I am looking to start out and teach privately. What would you say is a fair rate? And would it be better to go to the client's home or your home?
Thank you in advance

I would think that something around 50.00 an hour is reasonable to charge since you're not certified.
Also, I would pick a neutral location for tutoring. Do NOT have students come to your home, and I personally would not go into theirs. Too much cra.p going on these days with allegations, etc. Plus, what if your students have animals that you're allergic to, etc? The safest best is to meet at a library and give your services there.
Good luck!!! Sounds like a great idea!!!

Oh yes,I agree. I do feel uncomfortable going to their home and vice versa... Thank you very much for your advice.
